Representatives of the Forensic Examination Center of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid an official visit to the State Forensic Examination Committee on October 17-18.

During the visit Kazakhstani specialists got acquainted with the main activities of the State Committee, the expert equipment and the methodological approaches used in the Republic of Belarus to conduct examinations.




The Kazakhstan side was most interested in the experience of the State Committee in conducting forensic medical examinations, forensic vehicle technical examinations, examinations of drug and psychotropic substances, their analogues and precursors.






In order to develop the potential of cooperation the Kazakhstan delegation visited the Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus, got acquainted with peculiarities of the educational process and material and technical base of the classrooms.
The delegation also visited the Minsk City Directorate of the State Committee where they got acquainted with the conditions for conducting forensic medical examinations including the equipment of sectional hall in which a modern air purification and filtration system operates. This system minimizes the risk of biological contamination during forensic examinations. Belarusian colleagues shared their experience in organizing the training process of state forensic medical experts. Students, trainees and young specialists receive materials of previously conducted research in a multimedia format. For this purpose, a video system is installed in the sectional hall which allows to discuss issues arising during research online.
The participants of the delegation highly appreciated the equipment of the laboratories and the professionalism of the specialists of the State Committee, expressed their desire and deep interest in further developing cooperation, sharing best practices and methods of conducting forensic examinations to improve their quality.

In turn the representatives of the State Committee confirmed their readiness for further cooperation and the continuation of constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan in the field of forensic expert activity.
