CIS experts have agreed on the draft Agreement in the field of forensic expert activity
The main purpose of the development of partnership relations in the field of forensic expert activity in the CIS states is to further resolution of the tasks of protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens and the interests of their states through objective science-based examinations and expert research.
The draft Agreement on the formation of the Coordinating Council in the field of forensic expert activity provides for the approval of the regulations of the council which as a body of sectoral cooperation of the CIS aims to ensure within its competence the organization and coordination of interaction between forensic examination bodies in forensic expert activity and constructive cooperation with international organizations and their structures.
An additional meeting of the expert group to agree on the draft Agreement on the formation of the Coordinating Council of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of forensic expert activity and the decision of the Council of CIS Foreign Affairs Ministers on this issue was held on February 7 in Minsk.
Representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee participated in the meeting in the online conference mode.
