The delegation of the State Forensic Examination Committee headed by the Deputy Chairman of the expert agency Jurii Ovsiiuk is taking part in the II meeting of representatives of search teams of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade and in visiting session of the Headquarters for the coordination of search and archival work of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg.

The ceremony of reburial of the remains of soviet soldiers at the Memorial Complex Nevsky Threshold took place in the Leningrad region.

The remains of two soldiers were discovered during search operations on the territory of the Otradnenskoye Urban Settlement of the Kirovsky district by the ”Otradnoe“ search team.

The participants of the meeting gathered to honor the memory of the soldiers who defended their Homeland during the Great Patriotic War.
