Representatives of the General Directorate of Forensic Examination and the State Institution «Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus» took part in the International Scientific and Practical Round Table on the topic «Problems of the Study of Copies in the Graphoscope and Technical Examination of Documents», which was held on October 5-6, 2018 by the National Center of Forensic Expertise under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.

The Round Table was attended by officials of the Independent Certification and Examination Center (ICEC), the National Anticorruption Center of the Republic of Moldova, the Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa Scientific Research Institutes under the Minister of Justice of the Ukraine, expert institutions of Romania.

The participants of the Round Table presented reports on problematic issues, approaches and principles, main tasks and expert practice of conducting handwriting examinations and technical examination of copy documents, exchanged views on the prospects for the development of this direction, given the wide distribution of copies in everyday activities.

As a result of the Round Table with representatives of the participating countries an agreement was reached on the provision of mutual scientific, methodological, consulting and technical assistance in questions of scientific and expert activity, as well as in the areas of handwriting and technical examination of documents.
