The military and air attaché of the People’s Republic of China senior Colonel Qu Huijiang and the Deputy of the military attaché Colonel Bi Lei visited the State Committee.

The Chairman of the State Committee Andrei Shved and his Deputy Sergei Evmenenko took part in the meeting.

The military attaché was familiarized with the activities of the State Committee, its goals and objectives, visited fire and technical, explosion examination laboratories, drug and psychotropic substances research laboratories, their precursors and analogues, petroleum products research, materials, substances and items research, as well as ballistic examination laboratories.

The military attaché highly appreciated the technical equipment and readiness of experts to solve the tasks assigned to the State Committee.

During the conversation issues of establishing closer cooperation with expert organizations of the People’s Republic of China, in particular with the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, which subordinates several expert institutions, were discussed. Representatives of the Institute of Forensic Science and the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China have already visited the State Committee twice in 2016 and 2017. The delegation of the State Committee also visited the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China in 2016.

Currently, the State Committee and Chinese partners are ready to move to a new level of interaction, it is planned to legally consolidate the agreements reached, and the issue of signing an Agreement between the State Institution «Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus» and the Institute of Forensic Science the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China is being worked out.
