Belarus and Moldova signed documents on developing cooperation in various fields. The ceremony was held following the results of negotiations between the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip in Chisinau, the BELTA correspondent reports.

The government of Belarus and the commercial bank Moldova Agroindbank have signed an Agreement on the conditions of granting loans for the purchase of Belarusian goods in Moldova.

The Agreements on cooperation were signed between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Justice of Moldova, the Prosecutor General’s offices, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection of Moldova.

The Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs of Belarus and the Interethnic Relations Bureau of the Republic of Moldova signed a program of measures to implement the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation to ensure the rights of national minorities.

A Memorandum of cooperation in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative fuels was signed by the State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus and the Energy Efficiency Fund of the Republic of Moldova.

The Agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed between the Academies of Science of the two countries.

A number of documents were signed by regional leaders. The Gomel Regional Executive Committee will develop trade, economic and cultural cooperation with the Executive Committee of the Autonomous Territorial Entity of Gagauzia, the Gantsevichi district intends to build relations with the Leova district to exchange groups of children for health improvement. Zhodino and Hincesti also signed an Agreement.
