The delegation of the National Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia headed by the Director of the Center Mirco Matejić will visit the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus on April 9 -10.
The visit is planned as part of the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of forensic activity between the expert agencies of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia. This Agreement was signed in Belgrade in October, 2018 during the visit of the Chairman of the State Committee Andrei Shved to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.
The Serbian colleagues will get acquainted with the experience of Belarusian experts conducting a number of examinations and researches: drug and psychotropic substances examinations, their precursors and analogues, petroleum products and combustibles and lubricants examinations, forensic genetic examinations, explosion examinations, elemental and phase analysis, molecular spectral analysis, metallographic analysis, examinations of documents and banknotes, as well as ballistic examinations.
This visit is a step towards the practical implementation of the previously signed Agreement on cooperation, including the Interagency Cooperation Plan developed between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia based on the Agreement, which is currently under consideration by the Serbian side.
During the visit, an official meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee is also planned, where issues of further cooperation will be discussed, including possible training of Serbian experts at the Institute of Further training and Retraining of the Personnel of the State Committee.
