The expert community of Belarus

The expert community of Belarus is represented by:

• State forensic institutions;
• organizations, non-state forensic institutions;
• individual entrepreneurs.

State forensic institution:

• State Forensic Examination Committee;
• subordinated to the State Customs Committee of the customs laboratories;
• educational Institution "State Institute of improvement of professional skill and retraining of customs bodies of the Republic of Belarus";
• other state forensic institutions (units), created in accordance with legislation.

State forensic institutions carry out their activities without obtaining appropriate special permits (licenses).

State committee of forensic examination is a licensing body which carries out the issuance, suspension, renewal, extension of the validity, termination and annulment of special permits (licenses) for carrying out forensic activities:

• organizations, non-state forensic institutions;
• individual entrepreneurs.
