A meeting with the Minister of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam General of the Army To Lam and his Deputies was hold at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security in Hanoi within the visit of delegation of the State Committee. The representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Socialist Republic of Vietnam have also taken part in the meeting.

The delegations of both sides discussed the draft Plan of interagency cooperation between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for 2024 and have agreed to begin the necessary procedures for its early signing. This Plan includes a list of joint activities aimed at deepening the interagency cooperation in scientific, technical and methodological fields.
At the end of the meeting both sides have confirmed the high potential of cooperation between the two countries in the field of forensic examination, have noted the common desire to raise the level of bilateral relations, the great importance of Belarusian-Vietnamese ties and interest in further promoting cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity.
The Chairman of the expert agency Alexey Volkov has also met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Minh Khai. Addressing the Deputy Prime Minister the Chairman of the State Committee Alexey Volkov has expressed gratitude for the possibility of a meeting and the high level of organization of the visit.
