The delegation of the State Committee headed by the Deputy Chairman Sergey Evmenenko paid a working visit to the colleagues in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the meetings with the Deputy Ministers of Public Security of Vietnam Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc and Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung the issues of cooperation in the field of forensic examination, prospects and format for further implementation of the provisions of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which was signed on July 13, 2019 in Minsk, were discussed.

The previous agreements on sending Vietnamese experts to study at the Institute of the State Committee were confirmed. The organization of training of foreign experts at the Institute of the State Committee has positively established itself as one of the factors of strengthening ties and establishing contacts in the field of forensic expert activity. At the same time the preliminary agreements on sending Belarusian experts to the Forensic Science Institute of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam with lectures for Vietnamese expert colleagues on topics of interest were reached.
At the end of the meeting both sides confirmed the high potential of cooperation between the two countries in the field of forensic examination, noted the mutual intention to rise the level of bilateral relations, the great importance of Belarusian-Vietnamese ties and interest in further development of cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity.
The meeting with the Head of the Forensic Science Institute of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam Major General Nguyen Tien Nam was held during the visit of the delegation of the State Committee to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The delegation of the State Committee also visited the Department of the Forensic Science Institute in Da Nang.
During the visit of the laboratories of genetic research and narcotic drug substances research the members of the delegation discussed the issues of conducting expert research in these areas, exchanged views on the use of modern methods and techniques.
