The International Conference of Representatives of the CIS Member States on the topic “Current trends and ways to improve the effectiveness of cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity” in the section “Technical and criminalistic examinations of documents, handwriting examinations” was held.

On June 23 the experts of the Directorate of Documents, Banknotes and Handwriting Examinations of the General Directorate of Forensic Examinations took part in the International Conference of Representatives of the CIS Member States on the topic “Current trends and ways to improve the effectiveness of cooperation in the field of forensic expert activity” in the section “Technical and criminalistic examinations of documents, handwriting examinations”.

The conference was held in the form of video conferencing, during which topical issues of establishing the sequence of examination of document requisites, problems and prospects of research handwritings made in Tajik language, experimental research of the general handwriting features of the Tajik writing were discussed.

At the end the participants exchanged information on promising areas of development of forensic handwriting examination and technical examination of documents in their countries, and also discussed other issues not included in the regulation of the section.
