The specialists of the Department of the Construction and Technical Examinations and Road Examinations of the Directorate of Construction and Technical, Road and Commodity Examinations of the General Directorate of Technical Examinations of the Central Office of the State Committee made an introductory visit to the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation where they studied the experience of using drones during Construction and Technical Examinations from 5 to 7 December 2022.

As a result of the visit the specialists of the State Committee got acquainted with the organization and practice of conducting Forensic Construction and Technical Examinations during which drones are used, the algorithm of actions of experts when working with such devices, got acquainted with methodological base on this topic, the functionality and technical characteristics of drones of Russian and foreign production, the available software for data processing obtained during the use of drones and the features of construction the interactive three-dimensional models of construction sites and territories functionally related to them in such software complexes.

At the end of the visit the round table dedicated to further prospects for the development of Construction and Technical Examinations in terms of the use of drones together with software complexes used to create three-dimensional models of construction sites was held.
