The delegation of the Republican Centre of Forensic Expertise named after Kh. Sulaymanova under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus. The working visit of the Uzbek delegation lasted from 29 June to 1 July, 2022.
Currently the Republic of Uzbekistan is actively working to improve the forensic expert system, develop methodological foundations for the introduction of new types of examinations and research into expert practice. The Belarusian model of reforming the expert units and the experience of their work as part of a unified expert agency has always aroused great interest among Uzbek colleagues. The dialogue between the two agencies was established after the signing on April 10, 2018 of the international Agreement on cooperation between the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of forensic activity.
During the working visit the Uzbek delegation was familiarized with the main activities of the State Committee, technical equipment of forensic and technical examination laboratories. The delegation also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the Scientific and Practical Center of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
The Uzbek side was most interested in the experience of the State Committee in conducting forensic trasological and forensic economic examinations, due to the introduction of these types of studies in the Republican Centre of Forensic Expertise named after Kh. Sulaymanova.
Also during the visit, working meetings with the leadership of the expert departments of the State Committee in order to exchange views on the most promising areas of cooperation in the forensic field and to provide scientific and methodological assistance to each other in issues of scientific and expert activity were held.
On results of the visit the Uzbek colleagues expressed interest in holding joint seminars and training of Uzbek specialists at the «Institute of Further Training and Retraining of the Personnel of the State Forensic Examination Committee of the Republic of Belarus».
