Today the training in the State Committee of the group of specialists of the Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police (UAE) in the direction of licensing and certification has been completed.
During the training, specialists of the Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police studied the issues of state regulation in the field of technical regulation, standardization and conformity assessment, the legal basis for arms trafficking, ammunition and structurally similar products to weapons and their certification on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, and also familiarized with the forensic licensing system in the Republic of Belarus, the specifics of conducting examinations by persons who have special permits (licenses) for carrying out forensic activities.
Such training is implemented in the framework of the Memorandum of cooperation in the field of forensic activity, signed in July 2017 between the State Forensic Examination Committee and the Abu Dhabi Police.
So, in October 2017, following a meeting of the Chairman of the State Forensic Examination Committee Andrei Shved and the Director of the Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Hammadi it was decided to work out issues of training foreign specialists, preparing appropriate internship programs for a period of three to six months.
The training stage completed today is one of the steps for the practical implementation of the agreements reached as a result of three visits to the Belarusian capital by representatives of Abu Dhabi Police.
By August 2019, the Forensic Evidence Department of Abu Dhabi Police plans to send 30 more specialists for advanced training in such areas as cold weapons examination, ballistic, dactyloscopy, chemical, forensic medical, genetic examination.
Representatives of the Arab side note the high level of organization of training, show great interest in studying the latest techniques used by experts of the State Committee in performing examinations, especially in areas such as technical examination of documents, chemical and drug examination.
Specialists of the Forensic Evidence Department, who received training certificates today, noted the hospitality and friendliness of Belarusians, as well as the convenient infrastructure of the city, very beautiful nature and expressed hope to visit Belarus again.
Both sides are interested in deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as in expanding the areas of interaction, exchange of experience and technologies for conducting forensic examinations.
